I'm finally "living" in our new house. We moved in two weeks ago, but I didn't really feel like I was living here, since I was always out of the house. Just a place to crash.Damn, this means I'll actually have to clean my room, doesn't it? I can crash in a messy room, but I can't live in one.
I recently bought The Sims, and am thoroughly addicted to it, despite the fact that my Sims characters are lonely and grouchy most of the time. I need to make more characters and get them interacting .. but to do that I need to build houses .. it's confusing. James has The Sims also, and he's made a Sims James and a Sims Lara. We live together in a 1-bedroom pad. Sims James and Lara are doing a lot better than my characters. I think I need to get James to help me. Because, you know, he knows everything.
I can't remember what it's like to have a semi-normal life. I've been in other people's houses and I've been out of the house and busy constantly, which is a giant switch from my usual stay-at-home-dweeb life. I kind of liked that life. Sometimes. But not without James and Crystal to provide a happy distraction on a regular basis. Love and friendship and all that. Speaking of Crystal, I wonder if we're gonna hang out just the two of us anytime soon .. hopefully I haven't completely lost her to Carn and Civ 3 yet. And she's got one of those job thingies, too. And soon I'll be in school. Heh ... I wish I were more skilled with all that time-management crap.
