Exiting. This time it's for real.
I've decided finally to end this diary. It served me well once, but it doesn't anymore, no matter how much I want it to. I don't enjoy it anymore. It's become more of a tedious account of events than what it was in the beginning ... a place to vent without repercussions, a place where my words flowed freely and I was writing for no other reason than to get things out of my system and express myself somehow. I don't know why it's changed so much exactly, I suppose it's a combination of things, but basically I'm trying to turn my life around and I need a fresh start with my writing as well. There's just this strange sense of stagnancy I get writing in this diary that once helped me so much.So I'm satisfying my writing bug elsewhere now, so far anonymously, in a place where I feel comfortable expressing myself. I may let readers of this diary know where to find me at some point if they wish to, but frankly, I'm not ready for that just yet (not to mention the fact that I haven't settled on a place to write yet; I'm still fiddling around at different sites). Goodbye, Diaryland. When it was good, it was very good. I'll keep in touch. Love, Lara
