Oh man. I thought I was sick yesterday. Today it hurts to sneeze.Oh well. At least now I have a valid excuse for not handing in my essays today ... OK, so I have no excuse for not handing them in when they were actually due, but ... heh. If I work my best to clean up my act for the second half of the year, I'll still pass my courses. I can do it. Maybe.
I've decided to quit the Ritalin. It's been very helpful to me, but I'd like to see if I can get through my days without it, now. Then in a few weeks I'll quit taking Reactine every day for allergies ... I'm assuming I'll have a few weeks of horrid itchiness everywhere, tongue and palms of hands included, and then my body will get used to everything. After all, I never had an itchy tongue before I started taking Reactine. It must have sensitized me to everything by not letting me be exposed to mild, harmless allergens. Anyway, then once I'm done with the Celexa, I'll be drug-free ... aside from the odd asthma emergency which requires me to take a puffer. Woo. Natural Ripey.
Ugh. I'b siiiiiiiiicccccccccck.
So I'm really loving the rats. For anyone who hasn't checked out the latest RipeCam, I've named them Milo and Seamus (pronounced "shaymus", of course). They're terribly cute. They lick hands and snuggle and nibble and stand on their hind legs on my shoulder and tug at my hair and do all kinds of other cute ratty things. Everyone should have rats. Seriously.
Hmm. I think I'll go shower and try to wash the sick germs away. That might work.
